Fall Holiday Makeup Eye Look - "Pumpkin Patch"

Ah, fall is in the air!  When I think of fall I think of the leaves turning, the air cooling, and the holidays that are right around the corner.

I was thinking of certain things that represent fall and I thought of the pumpkin.  Whether being made into pies(my favorite kind, by the way!) or carved into jack-o-lanterns for Halloween, the pumpkin seems like a perfect thing to represent fall.

Here's a look with pumpkins as my inspiration!

Operation Palette #2: Lorac MegaPro Pt. 1

Welcome to the second operation palette!  This post will be featuring looks from the Lorac MegaPro Palette.

This, like the previous operation palette, features quite a large palette so I will be splitting looks up into two parts.  The second part will come later.

Please use the picture of the eyeshadows below for reference to the colors used for each look.

Operation Palette #1: Urban Decay Vice 3 pt.1

Welcome to the first in my operation palette series!  Here are some eye looks I created using the Vice 3 palette.

Because of the size of this palette, I will probably split this into two parts.

Operation Palette Information

I'm starting a new project,  I want to focus each new post on new palette's I obtain and old ones (they need love too!).  I'll create several looks from the palette and post them.  This way I'll rotate through my rather large palette collection and maybe inspire you if you have the same palette collecting dust, or alternatively, if it's a new palette, will give you an idea on if you want to purchase the palette yourself.

Larger palette's will take longer to create looks for so when I'm working on those posts will come a little more slowly.  I also might split those up if it's taking too long to create looks.

So look forward to seeing posts featuring new and past palettes.

I will dub those posts "Operation Palette"!

And that's not even all of them...!

BareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Cream Eyeshadow - My New Hero

Oh, BareMinerals, how I love you!  You always have something that solves my problems!

As I've said before I've been extremely short on time lately so doing my normal makeup routine hasn't been happening.  I normally have to focus most of my time covering my stress breakouts leaving me little to no time to do my eye makeup (which is my favorite part, btw).  Luckily my eyes don't have to go bare!

I was perusing the QVC website and stumbled across a set of three of BareMinerals semi-new BB cream eyeshadows.  I figured I might as well try them since I have a soft spot for that company. Needless to say, I am thrilled with the product and have since purchased two more.

I normally don't really use cream eye products..or any cream products for that matter.  My skin is far too oily to handle it.  All eyeshadows crease on me within 30 minutes or so, no matter what the formula, I always prime my eyes.  Just for shits and giggles I decided to try using this product without a primer one day and guess what?  It lasted several hours without creasing.  That might not seem like a big deal to most people but to me it meant this will have great lasting power on more normal lids.

That's not the only great thing about these.  The best part is they are easy to apply.  Just dab and lightly pat with your ring finger or brush.  Voila!  Within seconds you have nicely polished looking lids.  Finish with liner and mascara and out the door you go!  The texture seems a bit lighter than other cream formulas I've tried, which lends to the ease of application.

These have been my heroes the past few weeks, and although I'm hoping to find more time to do more intricate looks with the million palette's I own, I'm so happy to have these as they make my life so much easier!  I rest easier at night just knowing I have them.
